Interior Minister Taulant Balla reacted to the recent robberies in Tirana, where he said that one of the perpetrators of one of them was arrested and another robbery was prevented in the village of Prush.

Through an announcement, Balla writes that last night the police and the prosecutor’s office advanced towards the identification and arrest of the persons involved in this event.

He adds that the Police will increase vigilance on the eve of the end-of-year holidays.

The State Police will increase vigilance during the end-of-year holidays, while certain criminal elements try to use this period of the year for their criminal activities against property and persons. The State Police arrested the author of a robbery in Tirana and intervened in time to prevent another in the village of Prush. During last night, the police and the prosecutor’s office advanced towards the identification and arrest of the persons involved in this event.
