This Wednesday, the meeting between the leaders of the Western Balkan countries and the European Union will be held in Brussels.

The focus of this meeting is expected to be the membership in the European Union of the countries of the region.

Prime Minister Edi Rama is at the head of the Albanian delegation and will participate in the session at 17:00.

Meanwhile, images from the meeting have also been released, where Prime Minister Rama appears next to the Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sanchez, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen and the head of the European Council, Charles Michel.

At 8:45 p.m., a press conference is planned for the conclusions of this meeting. The attitude of Greece will also be of interest, whether or not it will prevent the opening of the group-chapters of Albania due to the “Beleri” issue.
