The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, has granted Albanian citizenship to the coach of the Albanian National Team, Sylvinho Mendez Campos Junior.

The passport was handed over to the coach of the National Team during the “Best 2023” Gala Evening of the awarding of the Year awards for boys’ and girls’ football.

Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present at the ceremony, who also read the decree of President Begaj.

While Begaj himself said that they will give a national contract to coach Sylvinho, to legalize him as an Albanian.

“Hello everyone, it is my pleasure to appreciate the best of the best, the Albanian Football League, for making us proud. The president asked for the support of the government, to give a national contract to coach Sylvinho, to legalize him as an Albanian”, said Begaj.
