Prime Minister Edi Rama has expressed his condolences through an article on the “X” platform for the death of the Kuwaiti leader, saying that his commitment to peace and prosperity has left behind a lasting legacy.

The leader of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah, passed away on Saturday at the age of 86.

“A very sad day for the warm and friendly nation of Kuwait! My thoughts are with the people of Kuwait as they mourn the loss of their esteemed leader, His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. His commitment to peace and prosperity leaves a lasting legacy. May his memory bring comfort to his family, people and all his friends during this time of pain”, said Prime Minister Edi Rama.
