The second international conference to celebrate the International Day of the Arabic Language took place in Tirana, with the participation of researchers and experts of this culture.

The International Day of the Arabic Language was celebrated in Tirana through an activity “Arabic – the language of poetry and arts”, with the participation of researchers and experts of this culture.
Under the guidance of prof. assoc. Adriatik Derjaj, head of the Slavic-Balkan Languages Department, the attendees shared views on the importance of communication between languages.
“Today we are talking about the celebration of the Arabic language, regarding the great importance of the Arabic language in the spread of culture”, said the charge d’affaires of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tirana, Abdullah Al-Shehri.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is doing its best to spread the language of poetry, the language of the arts that we are celebrating today.
Arab civilization is an important part of the cultural heritage of humanity, an important cultural bridge that established the links between the heritage of the ancient world and European civilization in the XII – XIV centuries.
Arabic is a language that is currently expanding. It is a language that is spoken by hundreds of millions of people in the world, about 300 million people have it as their mother tongue, and it is a language that, because of religion, is spoken by over a billion followers of the Islamic religion, in different dialects.
