A Shopping Center in the city of Lushnja was engulfed in flames around 2:40 p.m., this Monday. The services of the Lushnja Police Station and the “Shqiponja” Special Force have gone to the scene and are taking measures to evacuate citizens and residents in the shopping center.

It is known that national security forces have been sent to the scene in support of the Local Police for the evacuation of citizens.

Causes of the fire are still unknown, while a special investigative group has been set up under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, which is working to clarify the circumstances of the fire.

Due to the serious situation, the Minister of Internal Affairs Taulant Balla, the General Director of the police Muhamet Rrumbullaku and the MP Erion Braçe went to the scene.

Although the evacuations from the shopping center and the buildings adjacent to it have started, it is not yet known how many people are trapped.

Meanwhile, it is known that help was requested from other fire stations.
