The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti appeared in front of the media at the weekend where he spoke about the danger that threatens the country from attacks similar to the one in Banjska on September 24, by Serbian armed groups.

These attacks are serious and, moreover, supported by the Serbian state, as this fact is also confirmed by security experts.

“In reality, they are security incidents prepared by security institutions in Serbia, carried out by paramilitary groups, organized by the state of Serbia itself,” said Burim Ramadani, an expert on security issues.

“The threat is real, factually visible from the side of the local security mechanism, because the prime minister has declared that we may have a situation similar to September 24”, said Drizan Shala, an expert on security issues.

Despite this, the experts add that there is no room for panic, but a reaction must be done through a campaign, which has not yet been implemented.

“The Prime Minister of Kosovo should analyze such information further and send it to the international factor”, said Drizan Shala, an expert on security issues.

“I think that the institutions will have to cooperate every day with NATO, with KFOR as a military formation led by them and the states separately as well as increase the communication between the institutions”, said Burim Ramadani.

The public must also be informed, alert and cooperative with the country’s institutions.
