The Prison Internal Control Service has arrested the police chief of the Drenova prison.

According to information, Mariglen Kadiu has been exercising the same function in Peqin prison for years.

It is learned that Kadiu’s arrest is related to the last case of murder in Peqin prison.

Elbasan’s prosecutor’s office requested arrest in prison, while the court ordered house arrest because he has an autistic child.

Kadiu assumed the position of chief of police in IEVP Drenovë about 8 months ago. Official information is awaited from SHKB (Prison Internal Control Service) regarding the case.
