A serious incident was reported to the Graçanica Police, where a 34-year-old woman was found dead in Pristina.

The spokesperson of the Kosovo Police, Florie Ahmeti, said that the incident is being investigated by the officers.

“Today at the Graqanica police station, an investigation into the death was initiated, where the victim is a 34-year-old woman, whose death was confirmed by the medical team at the scene”, said Ahmeti.

Further, Ahmeti stated that currently the police in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office has started and is undertaking all the appropriate investigative actions that would help the investigation and clarification of the circumstances of the event.

“Meanwhile, the dead body of the victim has been sent for autopsy”, she concluded.

According to Kosovo media sources, the young woman from Gjakova was found dead in a hotel in Pristina, where she was staying with her boyfriend.

As reported, the event took place in the early hours of the morning, in the village of Suhadoll, on the Pristina-Lipjan highway.

Her identity has also been made public, where it is reported that it is about the citizen Artila Kameri.

It is learned that the 34-year-old woman has a daughter. On the other hand, it is reported that her boyfriend has stated to the police that the woman from Gjakova jumped from the hotel window after a fight between them.

The victim is known to be the daughter of a well-known business family in the city of Gjakova.

The media in Kosovo have tried to get official confirmation from the Kosovo Police, but the latter have not yet responded.
