Even though we are only in January in Ksamil, the tourism industry has started preparations for the summer season, while the announcements in the accommodation facilities are concrete.

Since this month, the hotels in Ksamil are prepared to host tourists. The first bookings come from Western Europe and are mostly youth.

Soraldo Nebo, hotelier, claims that accommodation structures are being careful not to raise prices.

“We prepared the offer, the prices before December, but we opened them in January, and we are seeing very high demands.

We are very attentive to price changes, which are happening either in the region or in Albania, we will not have price increases. We have increased supply, quality…. the tourists in Ksamil will have better service, increased professionalism of our staff.”

Direct flights that have been opened in TIA and that are low cost will have a strong impact.

What has been noticed for years and that suits both Ksamil and Saranda are the young people. So I believe that most of those who will be back in Ksamil will be young people who want to have fun, enjoy Ksamil, the hospitality…”

In Ksamil, the preparation of the summer season includes all aspects of tourism. The winter months have been used for training and certification of guides and marine operators, considering the size of marine tourism in the south.

Ksamili, who echoed throughout Europe last year, is using the winter months for restoration and training this year for a season that for the first time will start earlier.
