The State Matura has started preparations for the final exams, matriculation exams. Last year’s results, as well as the PISA test, have once again brought focus to the problems faced by students.

“The problem has to do with literature and Albanian language that fades and fades. Encountered every year, we have started from class ten and argumentation and argument strength are what is worked hard to reach the solution… Students must read correctly, properly and orient themselves to the key parts within a fragment, and this is what penalizes them by not approaching reality with what they read”, says Esmeralda Patoshi, teacher of Albanian language and literature.

Counseling hours, consultations, but also preparatory theses, are some models where high school students are oriented to prepare for the 2024 matriculation exams.

The Albanian language and literature was the subject that raised many controversies. This, after the students had poor results, where what was noticed was the lack of critical thinking in writing the essay but also the spelling mistakes.
