The head of the government Edi Rama was present this Thursday during the opening of the exhibition in honor of Paolo Rossi, the Italian football legend who passed away three years ago.

In his opening speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama also made a joke with Gabriele Gravina. One of the vice-presidents of UEFA and the head of football in Italy, after Gravina visited Albania for the fourth time and Edi Rama told him that he has not met him.

“I also thank Gravina, the head of football in Italy, who has come to Tirana four times and didn’t meet with me. I didn’t know you came here four times and you didn’t even make a sign to me, but as the professor says, you big, football presidents feel too big to talk to ordinary mortals.

I want to invite everyone to come and watch this exhibition. Football enters every home, at least from one family member. The strength of football is not only in what happens for 90 minutes. “Football changes culture and Paolo Rossi went beyond the limits without losing his smile”, said Edi Rama.
