A year before the parliamentary elections, the socialists will refresh the structures within the party. For this, the leading socialist Edi Rama called the National Assembly this Sunday.

In the message that the general secretary, Blendi Klosi, has sent to the members, it is said that the focus is on reenergizing the party within the tasks left by the December 8 Congress.

Blendi Klosi has taken care to remind members that absences are unjustified and that participation is mandatory.

Within the month of March, the election of the heads of the branches must be completed, to give way to the delegates of the Congress, the Assembly and finally the new Presidency.

Euronews Albania has learned that the meeting that will start at 11:00 will take place behind closed doors and that this was Rama’s own request.

This is the second time after July 26 of last year that the meeting of the Assembly of this political force is not open to the media.

In addition to the elections within the party, Rama is expected to deliver messages for his own.

The last time the Socialists convened the Assembly was on September 4, where Prime Minister Rama announced the changes in the government cabinet.
