The head of the government, Edi Rama, in a statement to the media after the meeting of the Socialist Party Assembly said that there were many discussions.

He also commented on the arrival of the American Secretary of State, Antony Blinken in Tirana, saying that it has a special significance, due to the very fact that the world is in a difficult situation.

Among other things, he underlined that his visit to Tirana shows what Albania represents in the eyes of strategic allies.

“The arrival of Blinken has a special meaning, in the context that Europe and the world are in today, for the very busy time of a state secretary. The fact that it finds it necessary and stops in the Albanian capital, as a point of reference for the region, speaks in a special way of where we have raised Albania and what Albania represents in the eyes of our strategic allies, in relation to this region, where I proudly say that Albania is the force of example to build peace, the path of cooperation, to build a common future and to dwell on a past full of tragedies and setbacks and full of opportunities endless lost to leave a better place for new generations” said Albanian Prime Minister.
