The American President, Joe Biden, has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.

Biden has said that the United States supports a multi-ethnic Kosovo integrated into European and Euro-Atlantic structures.

The US president has also said that the US supports dialogue facilitated by the European Union to reach a comprehensive normalization agreement with Serbia as a step forward towards eventual mutual recognition.

Biden has requested that Kosovo fulfill all obligations in the dialogue, including those from the past that were reached within the dialogue.
