The Supreme Court rejected the request of SPAK (Special Prosecuto’s Office), which demanded the return to prison of Jamarbër Malltezi, the son-in-law of former Prime Minister of Albania Sali Berisha.
SPAK appealed against the decision of the Court, which a while ago decided to leave Malltezi under house arrest.
Also, the Supreme Court rejected today the demands of former Prime Minister Berisha and his son-in-law for changing the security measure.
Since December 30, the head of “Re-establishment” is under house arrest, in his apartment on “Mustafa Matohiti” street, for the accusation of corruption with cooperation related to the privatization file of the former Partizani complex.
