Shkodra’s wildlife photographer Jetmir Troshani has been honoured with the First Prize and has received the Golden Recognition of Honor in the category of Wildlife and Nature Photography from the International Fund for Photography (FIOF) Awards 2024.
His photograph titled “Elegant Dance of Common Buzzards” has been awarded the highest accolade at the “Orvieto Photography 2024” event held in Italy from March 15-17, 2024, on the 20th anniversary of the International Photography Fund.
The photographer expressed that this achievement marks a significant historic moment in his journey with wildlife photography, further enriching his dedication to capturing the Albanian nature.
The Mayor of Shkodra, Benet Beci, congratulated Troshani on this achievement.
“His artistic works not only document the richness of our fauna but also directly contribute to the promotion of this extraordinary wealth that Shkodra possesses, so we are deeply thankful,” Beci wrote on social media.
