Donald Trump’s son-in-law’s investments in Albania and Serbia may be a message that harms the state of Kosovo.

This comes out in an analysis of the German media, where it is said that with Trump as President, the north and south of Kosovo can shrink.

The return of Donald Trump, as president of the United States of America, may disturb the map of Kosovo. The German newspaper “Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung” has devoted an article to the warning of Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of the former American president, about large investments in Albania and Serbia.

“If his father-in-law, Donald Trump, becomes US president, the deal could have major consequences,” the article says.

The well-known newspaper writes that the former US special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Richard Grenell, has played an important role in this.

Further in the article, it is said that the project could be very useful politically for the Prime Minister, Edi Rama, and the President, Aleksandar Vučić, if Donald Trump returns to the White House.

The newspaper even goes back to a “planned agreement” between Rama, Vučić and the then president of Kosovo, Hashim Thaçi, on the issue of the exchange, which was on the verge of being realized, and which was rumored at the time, as a ‘territory exchange’, where the north of Kosovo would have fallen to Serbia and the south would have access to Albania.
