Bulgaria sends 100 soldiers to the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo

Today in Bulgaria, the ceremonial sending of a military contingent of about 100 soldiers will be organized, which will further strengthen the NATO peacekeeping mission in Kosovo (KFOR).

The ceremony will be held in Yambol, in the central square in front of the Municipality building, reports Radio Bulgaria.

The contingent has completed training within the 42nd Mechanized Battalion – Yambol and has been assessed with “combat readiness”, the Ministry of Defense announces.
