The Ambassador of the European Union in Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, held a meeting with the head of the Special Prosecutor’s Office, Altin Dumani.

Through a post on the “X” social network, where he also shared photos from the meeting, Gonzato emphasizes that SPAK (Special Prosecutor’s Office), by investigating high-level corruption, is a key player in Albania’s progress towards meeting EU enlargement standards.

“By investigating and prosecuting high-level corruption and organized crime in Albania, #SPAK is a key player in Albania’s progress towards meeting EU enlargement standards,” Gonzato wrote.
