The President of Albania Bajram Begaj has reacted through a status on the “X” platform regarding the attack that took place between April 13 and 14 against Israel.
He has expressed that Albania strongly condemns Iran’s drone attack on Israel and expressed the hope that there will be no further de-escalation.
“Albania strongly condemns Iran’s unprecedented attack on Israel and expresses the hope that there will be no further escalation.
Any further de-escalation could jeopardize peace and security in the Middle East and have irreversible effects on a wider scale.”
Prime Minister Edi Rama has also reacted to Iran’s attack on Israel. Through a status on the “X” platform, the prime minister said that Albania strongly condemns the unprecedented attack launched by Iran.
According to him, this attack constitutes a threat to destabilize the region irreversibly.
“Albania strongly condemns the unprecedented attack launched by Iran against Israel, which poses a threat to irreversibly destabilize the region.
We stand in solidarity with the Israeli people and fully support our partners’ efforts towards de-escalation. Albania defends restraint and emphasizes the critical need for a cease-fire in Gaza, ensuring that all hostages can return home safely.”
