Confidence in the economy is growing. According to the Bank of Albania, in April it reached the level of 113.8 points out of 100, which is the measuring line between optimism and pessimism displayed by businesses and citizens. In relation to the month of March, the economic sentiment indicator has increased by 6.6 points.

The business sectors of industry, services, trade and consumers gave a boost to optimism in the questionnaire conducted by the Central Bank, while the construction sector registered a slight decline.

In industry, estimates are related to current production, ordering contracts and positive employment expectations.

In the services business, the current progress of activity and the level of demand have registered growth. Business expectations for future employment and prices are also rising.

Optimism in trade is also influenced by the progress of business, while citizens are full of confidence in the improvement of the general economic situation, starting from the financial situation and purchases in large amounts.

Unlike others, construction does not have the same expectation, and therefore appreciates the low level of current orders.
