Kosovo is the “cradle and home” of the Serbian people. Such a statement was made by the head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Porfirij, according to whom “in Kosovo, in Old Serbia, are our living and fallen”.

“We are a people with a Christian identity expressed through endowments, which constitute the densest crown of temple prayers in the world, the crown we have woven in Kosovo. And this is the truth about what lies on the mountain! This is where our past, present and future are combined”, said the Serbian Patriarch.

He also called on the Serbian people to pray and always be “with the brothers and sisters, according to him, suffering in Kosovo”.
