The Ministry of Economy, Culture and Innovation has reacted through an official response regarding the agreement to bring foreign workers to Albania.
Asked by Euronews Albania, if this agreement is real and what it would contain, the Ministry rejects the published news.
“We clarify that there is still no agreement between the states for the employment of foreigners in Albania, and as a result we cannot have either steps or numbers since they are done in the phase after the agreement has been signed by the parties”, it is stated in the Ministry’s response.
In its response, the Ministry of Economy writes that within this year a detailed analysis of the labor shortage will be carried out.
“National Employment and Skills Agency in cooperation with UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), within the year 2024, they will complete the Analysis of Skills Needs in the country, in all sectors, to identify the real needs for employees in Albania, according to each sector”, says the response of the Ministry of Economy.
