The “Maldives of Europe”, so called by foreign tourists, the crystal beaches of Ksamil have begun to welcome the first foreign vacationers.

The echo of Ksamil in the British tabloids seems to be translated by the high presence of island tourists. This couple from Scotland is staying for a few days in Ksamil, and that’s enough for them to plan to return again in the summer.

“I am Xhein from Scotland, as a first impression of Albania I can say that it is very beautiful, we just had breakfast in this beautiful nature and it was very tasty, the coffee was even better, and the sun is perfect for this time of year. As for the prices, everything was in line with the quality of the food and service,” she says.

Even the tourist operators themselves say that at this stage of the season British, French and German tourists are dominating. According to them, the flow is expected to start in June, while until now the atmospheric conditions have been unfavorable for tourism.

“The English dominate because they have done a lot of marketing for us, and then the French and the Germans are considered quality vacationers. From June onwards, we expect a season that has not been seen until now in Ksamil, since from June the time is adjusted and we expect a large influx until September because the season started very early, the only problem this week was the time”, says Nevzad Salihi tour operator.

The tourism industry in Ksamil is preparing for higher tourist flow than a year ago.

Ksamil remains the favorite destination of young Europeans who visit our country during the summer months.
