The special emissary of the EU, Miroslav Lajčák, spoke about the dialogue meeting between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels about the dinar.
In a post on the social network X, he said that in the meeting between the chief negotiators of Kosovo and Serbia for what “he sees as the final round of discussions on the regulation of the Central Bank of Kosovo”, no agreement was reached.
“And it is unclear how this will affect the daily life of the affected communities in Kosovo. I remain ready to wait for another meeting on this topic, provided that the parties show a real willingness to reach an agreement”, wrote the Slovak diplomat.
Lajčák spoke about other meetings during the week, including political consultations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Helsinki, the meeting with the President of Finland Alexander Stubb, the meeting in Podgorica, which brought together EU officials dealing with the Western Balkans and heads of delegations of the EU.
