The Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom, David Cameron, had a telephone conversation with the President of Albania, Bajram Begaj.

The news was announced by the Foreign Office of the United Kingdom through an announcement, where it is said that Albania’s role as a close NATO ally was discussed between them.

Also, according to the announcement, they discussed unwavering support for Ukraine and dealing with regional challenges.

“The Foreign Secretary had a phone call with the Albanian president @BajramBegajAL today after his visit to Tirana. They discussed Albania’s important role as a close NATO ally and reaffirmed our unwavering support for Ukraine and facing regional challenges,” the announcement states.

We recall that Cameron paid a visit to Albania today, where he met with Prime Minister Edi Rama.

As part of Cameron’s agenda, there was also a meeting with President Bajram Begaj, but this meeting was cancelled, because the British Foreign Secretary was called to attend the government cabinet meeting in his country.
