The chairman of the Democratic Party, Lulzim Basha, while speaking about the security process in the region, in his status on Facebook, has also reacted to the appearance of the president of Serbia with the infamous symbol of three fingers at the UN Assembly, where the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica was voted.
Basha said that Serbia aims to divide Republika Srpska, destabilize Montenegro and Kosovo, according to the failed scenario of Banjska.
He also said that Albania should play a proactive role in the region and not hesitate to support Kosovo.
“The appearance of President Vučić with the infamous symbol of three fingers, used by those who caused crimes and genocide in the Balkans, is a bad signal for the peace and stability of our region”, – writes the DP chairman.
“The projects of the Serbian world articulated by Vučič and Dodik aim at the division of Republika Srpska, the destabilization of Montenegro and Kosovo, a scenario which started but failed in the north of Kosovo on September 24, 2023,” said Basha.
“Albania must and will play a more proactive role in the region and will not hesitate in its support to Kosovo”, – says Basha.
