The Parliament of Albania has stopped the salary as a deputy for former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

The news was confirmed for Euronews Albania by the journalist Ardit Hoxha, who provided the salary list for the members of the Assembly, where next to the name of the head of “Re-establishment”, there is zero.

The head of “Reestablishment” has been under house arrest since December 30, 2023 as a person under investigation for the “Partizani” case. Since that date, he has not been allowed to appear in the Assembly, thus jeopardizing the mandate of the deputy.
