The Prime Minister of Italy, Giorgia Meloni is expected to visit Albania on Wednesday, June 5.
This visit of hers has been confirmed by the Italian government, while it is said that Meloni will conduct a joint visit with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, at 12:20, in the areas covered by the Italy-Albania cooperation protocol on migration issues.
Prime Minister Meloni’s visit comes as part of the Italian Culture Week in Albania, while the works for the reception center for migrants in the port of Shengjin are coming to an end.
On Monday, the Italian police arrived at this center and will be deployed in Shengjin to guarantee the safety of the refugees.
