The Minister of the Interior of Kosovo, Xhelal Sveçla, announced that today an action took place in Uglara of Zubin Potok, where some weapons were confiscated. Svecla said that the person whose weapons were found was arrested and investigations have been started.

Through a post on his Facebook page, Sveçla says that there will be no compromise towards crime, individuals or groups that threaten the security of our country and the citizens of Kosovo.

“Our commitment to eradicating crime and removing the criminal remnants of Serbia in our country continues successfully. Weapons and explosive devices such as hand grenades, long guns, ammunition, radio communications, anti-bullet and technological equipment were discovered today by the Kosovo Police during a raid in a location in the village of Uglara in Zubin Potok.
The person on whom these weapons and equipment were found was arrested and the case was processed at the Prosecutor’s Office. No compromise towards crime, individuals or groups that threaten the security of our country and our citizens.

We will not stop working in defense of our state interests, security for our citizens’ country, rule of law and order in every corner of our Republic”, Sveçla wrote on Facebook.
