The whole of Albania has suffered a total “black out”, where electricity has been cut off throughout the country.
All cities simultaneously experienced a power outage that lasted for several minutes.
Sources say that the unusual situation has not only involved Albania but the entire region.
According to preliminary information, it is known that the transmission systems in the entire region, including Greece, Montenegro and Bosnia, have been down.
In an announcement on Facebook, the distribution network of Montenegro announced that the cause was an interruption in the national transmission network and the entire country suffered a lack of electricity.
“Due to a disruption in the Montenegrin power transmission system network, almost the entire area of Montenegro is without electricity,” CEDIS announced on its official Facebook page.
Power was also reported to be cut across Dalmatia and most of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece.
