In recent years, the Holta canyons have become a tourist destination, not only for locals, but also for foreigners. Hundreds of visitors not only during the weekend, but also on ordinary days visit this place.

“I am a tour guide, we come from the Netherlands, and these are my clients. It’s probably the 7th time I’ve visited this place in 1 and a half months. There is a lot of interest to visit. I think the more people post pictures, the more others show interest. When you see this canyon, it’s fantastic, it’s one of the hidden beauties that hasn’t been fully discovered yet. It’s very nice not to have hundreds of people around, while the other rivers are very crowded,” says a foreign tourist guide.

The Holta Canyon is a gift of nature, a work of art that has been created over thousands of years. This makes foreigners more enthusiastic to discover Albanian beauties.

“We are from the Netherlands. It is our first time in Albania. It was the hotel where we are staying that recommended us about this beautiful place. The water is not too cold and it is very good. We have visited other canyons where you cannot walk from the cold water”, says a tourist.

Albania still hides wonderful places that are worth not only visiting, but also promoting. Tourists visit not only the canyon up to its upper part, but also the castle located on top of the mountain.
