The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, said that in the new round of dialogue, which will be held in Brussels on June 26, the state of this process and the way forward will be discussed.

During a statement to the media, after the international youth conference for Self-determination “Western Balkans Six – Youth for Social Democracy”, which was held in Pristina, Kurti said that there has not been a high-level meeting since September of last year.

“I believe that, among other things, tomorrow’s bilateral and trilateral meeting will be for the recapitulation of this three-year process. Let’s see what state we are in and what are the ideas on how to move forward”, said Kurti.

The meeting between Kurti and the president of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, under the mediation of the European Union, has been confirmed by the bloc itself.

The day before, Brussels said that in bilateral and tripartite meetings, achievements in dialogue will be evaluated and the meetings “will focus on the way forward”.

Last week, the Government of Kosovo told for Radio Free Europe that this meeting in Brussels is expected to have the main focus on the implementation of the Agreement on the way to the normalization of relations, the Annex for its implementation “and the way forward”.

Speaking about the Basic Agreement and its implementing Annex, Kurti told reporters that this agreement made possible the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia “with de facto recognition at the center”.
