A liquidator appointed by the state will manage the portfolio of MCA and FINAL microcredit clients. The decision was taken by the Bank of Albania and will be followed by a detailed liquidation plan.
Clients defrauded by microcredit institutions are moving towards solving their problem. With 10 million euros seized from the companies Micro Credit Albania and Final, which have also lost the right to recover the license, the Bank of Albania has decided that the created debt portfolio will be managed by a liquidator. The latter will be appointed by the Ministry of Justice and the Central Bank.
Liquidation is a term that means both repayment and cancellation of loans, and in this context, the authorities are preparing the initial package of information for the liquidator, in order to know the financial situation of the subject placed in liquidation.
For example, a possible scenario could be to write off loans repaid at the level above 70% and the rest to go to a second-tier bank, not including the cases that went to the courts by executive decision.
We remind that the number of clients who continue to have problems with companies or bailiffs is over 60,000, while finding a state liquidator was also used earlier in companies where there was a seizure order.
