Vice President of the European Commission, Margaritis Schinas, has posted a statement on the X social network regarding the Beleri case.

He asks the Albanian authorities to finally give Fredi Beleri permission to be sworn in as an MEP in Strasbourg.

Respecting the right to vote and be elected is a key element of any privileged state, the vice president wrote.

Justify Beleri to officially take office and will participate in the European Parliament votes next week in Strasbourg.
