“Taverna e Adriatikut” fair, Durrës attracts tourists with culinary and organic products

The stands filled with typical products of the area served as a beautiful postcard presenting the gastronomic potential, as well as the artisanal potential of Durrës.

The second edition of the “Taverna e Adriatiku” fair, on the “Taulantia” promenade, brought to the citizens of Durrës, but also to foreign tourists, a diverse range of culinary products from the city’s agrotourism, traditional local drinks from the best wineries, oil of olives, jams and sweets of touristic villages.

“This is a good opportunity, also for the presentation and recognition of young people from the professional schools of the coastal city,” said Gentian Kallmi, the vice-mayor of the Durrës Municipality.

The book stand and that of tourist guides and maps, handicrafts, souvenirs, wine, honey, and traditional Durrse dishes were some of the other products exhibited at the fair, where there were also traditional songs and dances.
