Following changes in the Albanian government where three directors assumed the roles of three ministries—Finance, Internal Affairs, and Defence—the new directors for the Port of Durrës, the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN), the National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection (IKMT), and the Cadastre have been appointed.
Kreshnik Bajraktari will be the new director of the Port Authority of Durrës, replacing Pirro Vengu, who has taken up the position of the new Minister of Defence.
Erlind Sulo has been appointed as the head of the National Agency of Natural Resources, succeeding Petrit Malaj, who will now head the Ministry of Finance. Erlind Sulo previously led the Albanian Electro-Energetic Corporation and was also the director of FRESH in Saranda and later the Butrint Park. Sulo has also served as an advisor at the Ministry of Infrastructure and Energy.
Dallëndyshe Bici returns to the National Inspectorate for Territorial Protection after 16 months at the helm of the State Cadastre Agency. Bici will take over from Ervin Hoxha, who has officially assumed the role of Minister of Internal Affairs after taking the oath before President Bajram Begaj.
Meanwhile, following Bici’s departure from IKMT, Lorena Goxhobelli has been appointed as the head of the Cadastre.
Goxhobelli comes from the Ministry of Defence, where she served as an external legal advisor on property matters in the minister’s cabinet since June 2022. She has extensive experience in the field of justice, focusing mainly on property issues, land management, public-private contracts for state property management, and more.
