Germany’s special envoy for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin, will stay in Kosovo on Thursday, the German Embassy in Pristina announced.

According to the announcement, he will hold official meetings and before the end of his visit there will be a statement for the media.

It is not yet known which officials Sarrazin will meet during his visit to Kosovo on August 29 and what the topics of the talks will be.

Sarrazin was appointed to the post of Special Envoy for the Western Balkans in February 2022. Since then, he has made a series of visits to Kosovo and other countries in the region.

Sarrazin made his last visit to Kosovo in May of this year when he met with the heads of state of Kosovo.

Meanwhile, in June he visited Serbia and talked with the Serbian president, Aleksandar Vucic, about the dialogue for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, which is mediated by the European Union.
