Today, the day hospital was opened within the “Mother Teresa” University Hospital Center (QSUT).

Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Albana Koçiu, were also present at the inauguration of this structure, which is the first of its kind in Albania with an area of 3,500 square meters.

This structure is expected to provide health services for 65 thousand patients with chronic diseases, but also others who will need therapy and continuous monitoring by doctors

Meanwhile, during his speech, Prime Minister Rama praised the work of doctors and called on them for more attention and dedication to patients.

“If you also invent a vaccine for the virus of disregard for patients, it would be very good. Because I, who know the system from the inside, know very well that the vast majority of doctors are super and provide service, but a few individuals who are unvaccinated with the norms of education and ethics at work are enough to reject the common work of all. I also speak as a hospital patient. I don’t seek doctors for this Diskales because I work on my strength with stretches and exercises, but I have nothing to do with this Linguinales. I urge everyone to go to the public hospital, go to the central hospital, because there you are abroad. Those who don’t believe it say Renaissance propaganda. What can I say? As a painter reading your faces I can tell you look in shape. Don’t spare a smile to anyone who comes to receive the service. A doctor’s smile is much more than a prescription”, Rama said during his speech.
