The Minister of Defense, Pirro Vëngu, paid an official visit to Pristina this Friday, where he was received by the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti.

During the meeting between the head of the executive of Kosovo and the minister of defense Vëngu, it was discussed about the strengthening of cooperation in the field of defense, regional stability and the necessary interaction with our allies for a consolidation of the international subjectivity of Kosovo.

In a post on social networks, the Albanian Minister of Defense stated that during this visit to Kosovo, emphasis was placed on the importance of investing in tools and human capital, as a contribution to increasing collective security.

This is the first official visit abroad of the Minister of Defense Pirro Vëngu since taking office at the end of July.

The visit also comes at a time when the climate between the Albanian and Kosovo governments is not at its best.
