The mosque of the municipality of Çaşka in North Macedonia, where the Albanian students will have to develop the learning process there, since they are not allowed to go to school by Macedonian parents.
The children of the three villages will learn in the mosque of Banjica village of Çashka Municipality.
This form has been opposed by the parents of Albanian children, who demand that they be treated equally with Macedonian children.
“I do not accept. Neither in the school nor in the mosque, those words are empty”, says a parent.
Minister of Education Lulzim Aliu does not accept that in this form the secular way of teaching is being violated, justifying it with the fact that students should not lose the learning process.
“I am happy that the students learn, what you will call it is your right. I am satisfied that we are doing a more important job than sending the children to that school, for this we are establishing a new school subject”, says Lulzim Aliu, Minister of Education in North Macedonia.
Although last year there were protests and opposition to not open a parallel educational institution for Albanian students, this idea was finally realized. Last year, first graders learned in Albanian at the “Todor Janev” school. But this year the Macedonian parents and the school director are not allowing the development of the educational process in Albanian.
