Following her visit to the Republic of North Macedonia, Speaker Spiropali met with Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.
Spiropali underlined the will of Albania for the advancement and expansion of relations between the two countries and the joint contribution to the promotion of regional and international cooperation.
“Albania is happy for every achievement of North Macedonia towards membership in the EU and as a partner in NATO. Our two countries will continue to cooperate for the deepening of democratization and integration reforms, alignment of legislation and policies with EU standards as well as the Euro-Atlantic perspective of BP. Albania and North Macedonia deserve EU membership. To preserve the fair representation of Albanians and the Albanian language, stressed the Speaker of the Parliament.
Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski praised the bilateral cooperation with Albania and the progress towards European integration and stated that both countries have long deserved EU membership.
So, in summary, the main points that were part of the discussions were these:
