An article in the New York Times about the creation of a Bektashi state within Albania has sparked debate in public perception regarding the real purpose of this plan.

This state, similar to the Vatican model, has raised questions about its security, symbolism, economic part, etc.

Euronews Albania has conducted a survey, asking 7 thousand citizens about this issue, where the data shows that:

24% of them were PRO

66% of them were AGAINST

10% expressed; I DON’T KNOW

These 7,000 citizens were able to express their opinion through this open survey on the YouTube page of Euronews Albania, regarding Prime Minister Rama’s idea for a new Muslim state.

So this survey continues to remain open on the YouTube page, so that other citizens have the opportunity to be involved.
