Foreign tourists continue to visit Elbasan at the end of September. Coming from different countries of the world, they want to get to know the city’s history and cultural heritage closely.

“I really like the view, the city is beautiful. We are interested in history and cult objects. It looks like an old city, with cobbled streets. I was photographing the mosque near here. I like it a lot”, said a tourist.

The “King” mosque in the Kala district of Elbasan is one of the cult objects most visited by foreign tourists.

“I am from France. It is a pleasure to visit Albania. Here in Elbasan we are visiting the museum quarter, there are old cult objects. They look interesting and of good quality”, said a tourist.

“I am very interested in mosques, I like to visit them. I have also been to Turkey and visited several mosques, I liked them a lot, I am interested in religion, characteristics and religious objects”, said another interviewee.

The local authorities have taken care that every day of this activity to welcome tourists, while the calendar of activities is full until the end of the year. The district of Elbasan reserves a number of natural destinations such as Gjinari and Funara, which makes it visitable by local tourists as well.
