A 19-year-old boy is fighting for his life after being seriously injured by his mother’s partner, who is Albanian. The serious event took place in Milan, Italy.

According to the media, the young man had intervened to protect his mother, who had been violated by her partner, a 46-year-old man of Albanian nationality.

The 46-year-old was arrested in the act and is accused of attempted murder and possession of a weapon without a permit.

Meanwhile, the 19-year-old, who was hit by a bullet between the neck and clavicle, is now hospitalized in the intensive care unit of the Niguarda hospital in Milan.

The tragedy occurred around 3:40 in the night between Saturday and Sunday outside a building at number 41 via XXV Aprile in Novate Milanese, a municipality of 20,000 inhabitants on the northern outskirts of Milan.

According to Italian media, the 19-year-old and his mother’s partner, a Ukrainian woman, were involved in a violent argument. Then the man pulled out his gun, an 84-caliber Beretta, firing a shot at the boy, who tried in vain to go out into the street to avoid the bullet.
