Two people were escorted to the police during the opposition protest this Monday.
Sources for Euronews Albania inform that they were accompanied during the relocation of the protesters.
The opposition protest took place in several main points. It started with the march from the Democratic Party headquarters to the prime minister’s office, where there were Molotov cocktails, arson and firework explosions, then the protesters marched towards the headquarters of the Socialist Party where there were also Molotov cocktails and clashes between the protesters and the police officers.
The protest moved again to the City Hall and the Ministry of the Interior, and then to the Parliament, where it was quickly dispersed due to tear gas.
