Agenda of Turkish President Erdogan’s visit to Tirana is revealed

Euronews Albania has secured the agenda of the visit of the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, to Tirana on Thursday, October 10.

Upon arriving in Albania, Erdogan is expected to meet at 11:30 with the Albanian president, Bajram Begaj, to discuss bilateral issues.

After the meeting between the two heads of state, the Meeting of the High Level Coordination Council will be held. In this meeting, the leaders will review joint projects and discuss strategies to strengthen cooperation in various fields such as economy, security and culture.

After the meeting, there will be a ceremony for the signing of new agreements aimed at intensifying cooperation between Turkey and Albania.

At the end of the meetings, Erdogan and the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, will give a statement to the media.

  • 11:30 – 11:40: Welcoming ceremony at the Presidency
  • 11:40 – 12:40: Face-to-face meeting with President Bajram Begaj
  • 12:40 – 13:40: Meeting of the High Level Coordination Council
  • 13:40 – 14:00: Agreement signing ceremony
  • 14:00 – 14:30: Statement to the media by Erdogan and Rama
  • 16:30 – 17:30: Mosque inauguration ceremony
