Mayor Erion Veliaj presented this Wednesday the project of rehabilitation of facades on “Luigj Gurakuqi” street to “Avni Rustemi” square. He emphasized that this project envisages the construction of an underground parking lot with two floors, which will help the residents of the area for parking.

“Today we presented the project of rehabilitation of the facades and the street ‘Luigj Gurakuqi’ to the square ‘Avni Rustemi’ in Pazarin e Ri, to give a new transformation to one of the areas most frequented by citizens and tourists. There we will also build an underground parking lot with two floors, to provide a solution to parking in the area,” Veliaj wrote on Facebook.

The mayor also emphasized that the municipality’s projects to encourage the use of bicycles and to reduce the use of cars do not mean that they are against cars. He explained that they have established a new order of priorities, where vehicles must stay below people.
