After the “head-to-head” meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan signed important cooperation agreements between Albania and Turkey.
Rama and Erdogan signed a joint statement on deepening cooperation between the two countries, creating a High Cooperation Council.
After the signing by the two leaders, it was the turn of the ministers and delegations of the two countries to formalize three more cooperation agreements.
Some of the signed agreements and protocols are as follows:
Statement of Intent on Cooperation in the Field of State-Supported Agricultural Insurance between the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Albania and the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry of Turkey.

Protocol for the Opening of Study Programs from Istanbul Technical University in Albania, signed between the Ministry of Education and Sports of Albania and the High Council of Education of Turkey.

Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Public Relations and Communication, between the Media and Information Agency of Albania and the Directorate of Communication of the Presidency of Turkey.

For the Turkish side: Fahrettin Altun, Director of Communication of the Presidency of Turkey
The agreements aim to strengthen bilateral relations in key areas such as agriculture, education and communication, contributing to the increase of cooperation between Albania and Turkey
